My Story: Sydnie Freeman

My Story: I was somewhat of a high risk pregnancy, high blood pressure and my hands, face, and feet were so swollen. I cried sometimes it was so uncomfortable. Finally the day came, and induction didn't work, and I had to have a c-section. I've heard many women say c-sections are the way to go and it's easy, NOT SO.

We came home with our beautiful little boy. I was trying to get the hang of nursing, and I couldn't, I hadn't slept for 3 days, I cried constantly because my son made me so happy and I was so frustrated because I didn't know how to nurse, I hadn't eaten or slept, my shirt was stained with lactation stains, and every time I sneezed I thought I was going to die. Every time I went to the bathroom, my baby had to go with me, and I pumped and rocked him in his car seat while I went. I literally was crazy and didn't leave the house for two weeks. Being a new mother does that, and looking back on it I would do it all over again.
